Aidan told us well in advance of the summer that he wanted to spend more time at the Museum of Science camp and less time outdoors. We looked into it and also found another camp- at MIT. The result…a summer of technology and all kinds of new things he loved exploring.
At the Museum of Science Aidan learned how to create an iPhone app. Â The app was a Simons Says game. The second week was 3D Oculus Rift Virtual Reality Game Design. Â This he needed to explain to me!
The second camp was at MIT. The company running the camp was called iD Tech. Aidan loved being on the same campus as Chris- taking the shuttle and carrying his backpack like Chris. It was an early jump start on his plan to go to MIT.  His classes there were 3D Oculus Rift Virtual Reality Game Design and Role-Playing Game Design with RPG Maker. Again, more understanding was needed to know what he was interested in! He really liked meeting other kids with similar interests and also that you can take work home and keep working on his projects.
