Perhaps deserving of its own post?

It’s no secret we enjoy a good laugh.  And it seems that everyone got a good laugh from this year’s Christmas card.

I came across a blog during the summer.  It featured a Dad who takes pictures of his daughters in funny ways.  I loved the picture of the older girl taping the younger one to a wall.  Seemed perfect for our kids.  I sent it to our friend Brendan who took our awesome 2011 Christmas card pictures and asked if he thought it would be possible.  You know you have a good friend when he immediately says “of course we can tape your kid to my wall!”

We had Brendan stand on a box as we taped him up.  Then put Aidan in place.  Then as the box was kicked out, we hoped that at least one of the pictures would work!

The picture was posted on Facebook and immediately got lots of likes as well as messages and texts.  We knew it would be a hit!

Now we need to start planning for next year!
