A few months ago I mentioned that Brendan was cast in Boston Children’s Theatre’s Stuart Little. Â He began practices the beginning of this month (in four weeks they were ready!). Â It was a big commitment! He practiced Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for 4 hours and then Saturday and Sunday too! Â He was the youngest in the group but is holding his own! He was never happier than the days he was going to practice.
There were 12 performances- 8 on the weekends and 4 during the week.  This was a big deal for Brendan  Every show got better and better.  The kids worked with an awesome director (Peter Ellingstein) and a fantastic crew.  They were even reviewed in the Boston Globe!  Brendan was called a “scene stealer!”
Just as important as the experience Brendan had, was that Brendan’s whole second grade class- over 130 kids- got to come to see him. Â For many of the kids it was there first time seeing live theater. Â Brendan was thrilled to have his friends see what he had been working so hard on.
This has only made Brendan want to be in more productions and keep working hard to get to Broadway! He’s going to be singing Stuart Little songs for a while!
